What a blessing to reunite with dear friends from our previous country of service when they came for a visit!! The boys jumped right back into a very special friendship! Let the craziness begin :)
The life of a TCK often combines good ole silliness with amazing scenery and places! Here is Mount Merapi, an active volcano that erupted 6 months ago, leaving alot of ash and desolation in the midst of beautiful rice paddies and palm trees.
Then we went to Borobudur, an ancient Buddhist temple. We saw these three cute little rice farmers :)
Borobudur is a stone temple built on a hill. It is huge and pretty amazing.
This is the "sleeping Buddha" mountain range. Squint and use your imagination and see his head on the left and his belly on the right.

You just think they were jumping for the picture. Actually they were just so happy the tour was over!
And now for some excellent local food...
What's a tour in Indonesia with out being swamped by students who want to "practice their English" and, oh yea, take a few pictures too.
Later, in a mall, the boys discovered an interesting animal show...
And back to the hotel for some more fun hallway games!
